Last Weekend In April Production

I painted all three of these in the last 18 hours. I intend to finish all three, especially the purple and yellow piece, which I only began painting about 2 hours ago. It is in the early stages. The portrait is of my long time friend and assocaite, Metal Nick. The other... It looks like Dr. Seuss to me.

I have been working on this piece since some time in January of this year. I am probably still going to continue adding bits and pieces to it, but the overall dynamic is staying essentially the same as I do so ...

NGA Field Trip

We took the eight grade on a brief trip to the National Gallery in DC on Monday and OOOPS, we ran into Chuck CLose in person!!! Me and my mentor became as giddy as school girls... Here is proof:

THe funny thing is I took 8 or 9 pictures, THEEEEN they told me I couldn't take pictures. :) . My luck continues
